Flint Hills Resources (FHR) is currently seeking a Terminal Manager to work at our Waco Terminal in Waco, TX.

Our Team

In this role, you will oversee the operations and administrative personnel assigned to the Terminal while also assuming a leadership role in offering day-to-day operational support, project management, employee development, and customer satisfaction at the Fuel Terminal.

What You Will Do

* Overseeing day-to-day operations and maintenance of a Refined Products Storage & Distribution Terminal, ensuring disciplined execution according to our policies and procedures is enforced at the terminal * Development of technicians by applying Principle Based Management (PBM), including day-to-day coaching and mentoring * Maintain FHRs commitment to safety, compliance, stewardship, and environmental performance * Ownership of terminal projects and execution of Management of Change process * Act as the cost center owner and manage the operating expenses for the terminal * Apply FHR leadership expectations and make decisions consistent with the company risk profile * Coordinate with marketing and pipeline scheduling on product movements through the terminal * Ability to work after-hours to support the business, 24/7 on-call availability when issues arise * Strive to transform the operations at the terminal to meet the changing needs of the business by improving the way work is performed and applying technology to add value to the business

Physical Requirements

* Ability to safely lift at least 50 pounds and carry 25 pounds * Negotiate in, on, and around piping * Navigate vertical ladders, tank stairs, and confined spaces to reach work areas * Physical ability to frequently stand, walk, lift, carry, push, pull, reach, handle, bend, twist, climb and balance Must be able to communicate hazardous conditions and other dangers * Must be willing to utilize Personal Protective Equipment as required

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * 2+ years of operations experience OR prior military experience * 2+ years of leadership/management experience * Valid driver's license

What Will Put You Ahead * Associates or bachelor's degree * Previous refined products terminal and/or pipeline experience
