As a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will possess advanced knowledge and expertise acquired through your clinical experience and rigorous training. You will be fundamental in assessing and managing patient care, including ordering diagnostic tests, making therapeutic decisions, and implementing care plans. Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide quality care to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and physical exams, gather clinical data, and prepare patients for necessary tests and therapies.
Order, interpret, and act on medical laboratory test results to diagnose conditions and provide treatments.
Utilize your understanding of human anatomy and medical principles to diagnose and treat various health issues effectively.
Ensure precise and detailed patient documentation for billing and medical records management.
Lead clinical activities during shifts, facilitating seamless patient processing and discharge.
Mentor new staff and physician assistant students to foster their professional development.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program is required.
Proficiency in computerized medical recordkeeping and billing systems.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
HIPAA compliance must be maintained at all times.
Current NP Licensure upon hire is required.
ATLS and BCLS certifications are necessary upon hire.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand and walk constantly throughout shifts.
Frequent lifting and carrying of various weights.
Requirements include kneeling, crouching, and handling clinical tasks effectively.
