Position Overview:
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will utilize your advanced clinical skills and knowledge to assess, diagnose, and manage patients in the Ob/Gyn specialty. Your role is essential in ensuring high-quality care through collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations. Order and interpret diagnostic tests; diagnose medical conditions and develop treatment plans. Administer medications and treatments, perform minor surgical procedures. Ensure accurate coding and maintain detailed patient medical records. Lead clinical shifts, facilitating smooth patient processing and care delivery. Mentor new staff and educate physician assistant students. Qualifications: Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner upon hire. Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required upon hire. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibit a professional demeanor. Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk frequently. Capable of lifting and carrying objects as needed.
