Nurse Practitioner - Ob/Gyn Specialist

Key Responsibilities: Utilize your understanding of anatomy and medical principles to provide comprehensive patient assessments and examinations. Conduct detailed physical assessments, and collect clinical data, including vital signs and laboratory tests. Diagnose medical conditions, order tests, interpret results, and deliver appropriate treatments including medications and minor procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and coding for effective billing practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Serve as a resource for team members, facilitating efficient patient management and care during clinical shifts. Act as a mentor to new staff and residents, fostering a supportive learning environment. Qualifications: Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program is required. Demonstrated ability to quickly master electronic medical recordkeeping and billing systems. Strong professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Licenses required: NP - Nurse Practitioner, ATLS - Advanced Trauma Life Support, BCLS - Basic Life Support (all must be current upon hire). Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with frequent lifting and carrying responsibilities.
