We are actively looking for a motivated, critical thinking individual to intern with a strategic emphasis on the functions related to software implementation functions that directly influence bringing users live on our software application. This internship is designed to provide a hands-on experience in shaping and executing impactful project management, application implementation, and integrations. The primary goal is to immerse the intern in a comprehensive software professional services environment, with a clear understanding of how to directly contribute to software implementation success from kick-off to go-live. Responsibilities: Project Management: Review and refine project plans. Forecast project scope. Coordinate and attend project calls, documenting project risks and issues and assist in pursuing resolution. Application Implementation: Set-up and add/configure new users in the software application. Attend software implementation project call, documenting important consult findings with Application Consultants. Integrations: Attend integration project calls, documenting key configuration needs and testing results Address low-complexity integration tasks, such as reviewing mappings and connecting existing interfaces to new sites Professional Services Financial Forecasting: Review existing Sales Opportunities from Sales team reports and forecast potential future revenue. Review current projects and update WIP reports with forecast modifications. Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable conclusions. Critical thinker who can actively listen to customer feedback and translate it into actionable solutions. Intern Program Description: Healthcare Software Business (HSB) Intern Program at Harris Novum The Harris Novum Healthcare Software Business (HSB) Intern Program has three main objectives: Objectives Grow experience: provide undergraduate students with a first (or near-first) experience working within an industry-leading healthcare software business Build skills: promote development of a set of business, self-reflection, and interpersonal skills that will serve undergraduate students in a range of healthcare, software, or business positions Gain insights: instill self-awareness, ownership, and agency in each undergraduate student so they can more readily navigate healthcare, software, or business careers Description Overview Selected students will spend 2-3 months embedded as interns in an industry-leading healthcare software-as-a-service (SaaS) company. Program Leadership A Program Director and Executive Leader administer the HSB program and ensure the intern receives feedback on character, skills, growth, and performance. An Executive Mentor is assigned to each intern and serves as a consistent professional resource for the duration of the internship. Program Structure The program delivers core curriculum content and project-based work. Core Curriculum Core curriculum sessions are delivered by domain experts and will cover company best-practices in: (1) Leadership and Management (2) Finance and Accounting (3) Operations and Human resources (4) Sales and Marketing (5) Professional Services and Customer Support 6) Cybersecurity and Healthcare Data Security (7) Research and Development (8) Product Development Projects Interns embed in at least one department and complete an individual or group project with the support of a Project Sponsor. Project Sponsors serve as the point resource for the intern for the project, integrate the intern into departmental meetings, and help the intern navigate interactions within the department and wider organization. At the conclusion of the project period interns summarize their project findings in oral and/or written format. Who should apply?
