Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Hospitalist in Tyler, TX

COVERAGE REQUIREMENTS Pediatric Hospitalist (PEDHOSP) Starting in April, ongoing 3-4 shifts in a row per week 7a-7a (usually in-house 7a-5p) POSITION DETAILS Pediatric Hospitalist (PEDHOSP) Location: East Texas Hospital Bed Size: 457 Trauma Level: Level 2 Setting: Inpatient Patient Volume: They do normal newborns and pediatric patients. Peds: avg 7 pts per day, Newborn: avg 19 pts per day. But they also have at least 1 APC per day (busy days usually 2) and they usually have another doc come in and see normal newborns to help offload if the census is high.
