Role: Cloud Architect Location: Boston, MA (Onsite day 1) Fulltime Job Description : AWS Cloud Architect, microservices, design patterns, architecture blueprints, distributed transactions, asynchronous event-driven workflows, orchestration, choreography Proven experience 9 years as a Cloud Architect, Solutions Architect, or similar role with a focus on AWS cloud services. Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, or similar credentials highly preferred. Strong proficiency in designing and implementing microservices architectures and distributed systems on AWS. Experience with design patterns, architecture blueprints, and best practices for cloud applications. Deep understanding of asynchronous event-driven workflows, orchestration, and choreography patterns. Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, etc. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience Required: Experienced AWS Cloud Architect who will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have expertise in microservices, design patterns, architecture blueprints, distributed transactions, asynchronous event-driven workflows, orchestration, choreography, and other relevant technologies. Responsibilities: Design and architect complex cloud solutions on AWS infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability requirements. Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, technical design documentation, and guidelines for cloud implementations. Implement microservices architectures, leveraging containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing models. Define and promote best practices for cloud application design, performance optimization, and security. Design and implement distributed transaction patterns, asynchronous workflows, and event-driven architectures using AWS services. Evaluate and recommend appropriate AWS services and technologies based on project requirements and industry best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure architectural consistency and integration across systems. Lead architecture reviews, performance assessments, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams.
