Electrical Engineer

PeopleSolutions is working with a leader in electronics manufacturing that is committed to providing cutting-edge solutions to our customers, and seeking a talented and innovative Electrical Engineer to join their team. About the Role: In this dynamic position, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the development of our next-generation commercial machinery and improving the existing product line. You'll collaborate closely with the engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and efficiency. Responsibilities: Lead innovation and new product development Develop and implement solutions for both new equipment and existing product improvements. Ensure regulatory compliance with agencies like NSF, CSA, UL, BOCA, ASSE, UPC, and federal, state, and local authorities. Provide technical support to our field sales team, contractors, consultants, engineers, and architects. Develop and manage technical documentation for design control and field use. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 5-10 years of experience in electrical and electronic design, preferably in the commercial appliance industry. Strong knowledge of board level circuit design, relay logic circuit design, electrical circuit troubleshooting, IoT implementation, software coding, hardware design and selection, sensor selection, vendor selection, and project management. Experience with CAD modeling (Autodesk Inventor preferred), stainless steel sheet metal fabrication and design, mechanical design, plastic component design, and electrical/electronic circuit design. Knowledge of codes and standards for plumbing, sanitation, electrical, and building (NSF, CSA, UL, BOCA, ASSE, UPC, FDA).
