Certification Details ARRT BLS Certified Cardiac Interventional Rad Tech - ARRT (CI) Certified Vascular Interventional Rad Tech - ARRT (VI) Job Details Cath Lab Tech- 100747 at Thomas Memorial Hospital Job Requirements ARRT, BLS, Certified Cardiac Interventional Rad Tech - ARRT (CI) Verification, Certified Vascular Interventional Rad Tech - ARRT (VI) Verification Prior Cath Lab or Rad Tech experience First time traveler okay with good experience One year of experience Schedule Information Five days per week, variable start and stop times Weeknight/Call Requirement: One week of on call per four week schedule Weekend/Call Requirement: Friday after hours until Monday Morning 0700 Holiday/Call Requirement: Rotational On call 24-7 Unit Specific Information Common diagnoses/Types of patients include Diagnostic left and right heart caths, PCI, IABP, Temporary pacemaker Job Duties include scrubbing, assisting physician, knowledge of sterile technique, circulating, sedating, and completing documentation requirements EMR/Equipment: Siemens software and equipment Manager/Charge Nurse: Director, Coordinator, and a Charge Nurse Scrub Color/Dress Code: Surgical attire provided Unit/Department specific orientation provided, up to 36 hours Additional Details Radiation badge: Required to be provided by agency No local travelers within 50 miles of facility Cannot exceed 1 year of service within the system 2-year waiting period for returning employees or those coming from affiliate locations Call response time: 30 minutes No floating unless extra hours are desired and experience is sufficient in other units
