Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/09/2024 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Details Travel rate is available for local travelers if their start date is on or before 12/13. Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years (1.5 years with strong experience accepted). Travel Experience: First-time travelers are welcome. Skills Required: IV Start and Telemetry. Certifications Required: BLS. Patient Ratios: Target 1:6. Contract Length: 13-26 weeks, with 36 hours offered. Shift: 12-hour nights. Scheduling: Self-scheduling based on unit needs with input from the Nurse Manager. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. Float Requirement: Occasionally. Unit Orientation: 36 hours. Scrubs: Navy blue or white. Patient Diagnoses Our unit primarily cares for surgery patients, including those undergoing colorectal, general surgery, hepatobiliary, and orthopedics/spine procedures.
