Certification Details BCLS Job Details Target Ratios: 1:5-6 Shift: 12 hr NIGHTS; 36 or 48 hours accepted. If 48, then no OT billed until after 48 hours. Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed No Christmas RTO Job Requirements Minimum Years of Experience: 1YR Traveler Experience: Accepts 1st time travelers Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes Skills: MED/Surg, Telemetry-remote monitoring, IV insulin protocols, Colostomy Care, Feeding tube care & management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin, PCA, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral Suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac Schedule Information Shift: 12 hr NIGHTS 36 or 48 hours accepted Scheduling type: based on unit needs RTO: 7 days MAX; No Christmas RTO Floating Requirement: Floating required Weekend Requirement: 12-16 per contract Unit Specific Information Skills: MED/Surg, Telemetry-remote monitoring Orientation: 24 hours System: Epic Additional Details Patient Diagnoses: dementia, diabetes, dementia, COVID, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, encephalopathy, GI bleed, anemia, hip fracture. Typical M/S diagnoses plus COVID Special Procedures/Unit Details: Isolation area for COVID patients, multi level care to include stepdown (cared for by stepdown staff, not M/S staff) Unit Systems (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, Epic, SBAR
