Job Title: Software Engineer (Product Design) Location: New York, NY (On-Site) Salary Range: $130,000 - $200,000 Company Overview: Join an innovative, fast-growing technology startup in New York City With a team of around 10 people and $2 million in recent funding, this company is creating cutting-edge solutions in sales technology. They are looking to bring on three Software Engineers specializing in Design and Product to help drive growth and shape the future of their platform. Role Overview: As a Software Engineer (Product Design), you'll play a key role in developing technology solutions that enhance user experience and promote seamless API integrations. This is an ideal opportunity for engineers with a passion for design, ownership, and working in dynamic, early-stage environments. Core Technologies: React/React Native Node.js, Express, MongoDB Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 3 years with React, React Native for Web, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. Startup Experience: Proven experience in early-stage startup environments. API Expertise: Interest in API-first companies, with a preference for candidates with prior API company experience. Technical Skills: Proficient with module bundlers (Webpack, Babel, etc.), including troubleshooting configuration issues. Builder Tools: Experience with Retool, Webflow, Figma, or similar tools. Design Skills: Strong design thinking, including understanding of graphic design fundamentals such as layout, typography, and color theory. Full-Stack Knowledge: Solid understanding of modern web technologies across the stack, including HTML/CSS/JavaScript, databases, APIs, and API authentication. Onsite Collaboration: Excited to work onsite in NYC with a talented, close-knit team. Key Responsibilities: User Experience: Design and implement UI/UX for onboarding, API integrations, and overall platform experience. Collaboration: Work directly with founders to shape the product roadmap and prioritize initiatives. Full-Stack Development: Architect and develop across the entire stack to deliver top-notch solutions. Ownership: Take initiative and pride in refining the user experience and building a best-in-class platform. Interview Process: Four-stage process, with potential to hire in as little as two weeks.
