Our Marketing Operations team at Claroty is searching for a highly skilled part-time Web developer/designer to join us for 20 hours a week. In this pivotal role, reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations, you will be responsible for enhancing our web presence through innovative design and performance-focused website development. Design, develop, and maintain multiple (existing) websites across our portfolio, ensuring a seamless, engaging, and visually appealing user experience. Implement and optimize website architecture, considering both front-end aesthetics and back-end functionality. Drive conversion rate optimization (CRO) best practices and experimentation across the website to grow the database of marketable contacts. Collaborate with the Demand Generation team to ensure SEO best practices. Web Development: Demonstrate expertise in crafting custom designs through proficient utilization of Tailwind CSS classes. Showcase proficiency in utilizing Alpine.js for enhanced interactive features and dynamic functionalities within web development projects. Exhibit familiarity with a substantial Statamic instance, including adept knowledge of Collections, Taxonomies, and community/custom addons. ● Display competence in Laravel development, including creating jobs, notifications and the ability to perform major version upgrades. Demonstrate hands-on experience working with Livewire to implement interactive components on websites. Showcase the ability to interact with Statamic's facades for effective data querying and filtering. Possess experience in managing DigitalOcean droplets through Laravel Forge. Exhibit proficiency in provisioning and managing resources, overseeing deployments, configuring environments, updating PHP, and managing queues for optimal performance. Design: Figma Skills: Proficiency in using Figma for web design, creating and managing scalable design libraries, leveraging components and variants for efficient workflow, and building interactive prototypes. UX/UI Design: Expertise in designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces, focusing on user experience principles. Design System Management: Capability to develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across products. Mobile/Responsive Design: Skills in creating responsive designs for various screen sizes and devices, understanding of mobile design principles. Accessibility Testing and Compliance: Knowledge of accessibility standards (such as WCAG) and experience conducting accessibility audits. Graphic Design and Illustration: Ability to create visually appealing and on-brand graphics and icons, translating brand identity into visual elements. Security: Experience in configuring site settings for optimal security and reviewing Security Scorecard results. Education: Minimum of 5 years of experience in website development and design for B2B SaaS companies or similar. Expert knowledge of Statamic CMS, Laravel PHP, Figma, and Server management. Advanced proficiency in web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, Java, and PHP. Proven experience working with web tools/plug-ins such as Hotjar, GA4, and SEMRush. Demonstrable experience in creating user-friendly website layouts and designs. Strong understanding of best practices in website user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong project management abilities and experience working in a collaborative team environment. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working with outside partners to ensure website work is executed correctly. A portfolio of work examples is required. The expected hourly range is $50 - $75. Pay will be by experience level, but those outside of the salary band are welcome to apply.
