Lexmark is in search of a seasoned network operations engineer with a passion for operating, executing, and enhancing standard processes for maintaining an enterprise network. The selected candidate will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure the implementation of Lexmark's IT operations, security, and network policies. The role involves working with architecture and business teams to ensure the availability of the enterprise network. The engineer will also be responsible for monitoring tool efficiency, setting guidelines, and eliminating barriers to achieve desired outcomes. Additionally, they will liaise with other IT operation teams to resolve any network-related issues. The ideal candidate must possess robust communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. Key Responsibilities: Remote Administration and troubleshooting of switches, routers, firewalls, and cloud networks. Configuration and management of multiple network security systems to include next gen firewalls, unified threat management services, and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE). Deployment of public cloud network services including virtual networks, load balancers, web application firewalls, and virtual gateways. Execution of standard network delivery processes such as VLAN creation, route advertisements, firewall policy configurations, DNS record changes, IPAM network creation, network performance reports, network infrastructure hardening, software/hardware licensing, and virtual network peering. Coordination of high-impact infrastructure changes and outages during on and off-hours. Collaboration with architecture teams providing design feedback, process improvement opportunities, and potential solution enhancements. Act as the escalation contact for the network helpdesk and incident managers. Communicate regularly with management and architecture teams on operational metrics. Light travel will be required to meet with international teams. Hands on support for the deployment of new infrastructure and maintenance of existing infrastructure at the company headquarters location. Be an advocate and change leader for network-security initiatives and operational processes with a goal of improving the overall culture. Preferred Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field with 3-5 years of networking and security experience. Advanced knowledge of LAN, WAN, VLAN, Public Cloud, Wireless, and VoIP networking technologies. Advance knowledge of routing protocols to include Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), and Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP). Advanced knowledge of network security concepts, including web filters, NIDPS, DLP, SSL-DPI, firewalls, etc. Advanced knowledge of network services, including DNS, DHCP, IPAM, SNMP, IPSec, NetFlow. Knowledge of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Network Access Control (NAC) technologies. Knowledge of scripting, automation, and DevOps functions including Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaC). Experience working with Fortinet, Cisco, InfoBlox, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies. Experience with client facing Network Operations Center (NOC) support. Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with ITSM, ITIL, NIST, CIS, and ISO 27001 frameworks. Proven ability to lead and manage multiple priorities with proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities. Experience with working with onshore and offshore global teams. Strong ability in multiple technologies, analytical techniques, and leadership skills. In-depth knowledge of Operational Processes (Event, Incident, Change, Problem).
