Our client, a real estate advisory firm, is hiring a Property Manager to join their growing team The Property Manager will oversee the daily operations of their residential property in Boston. This role is responsible for maintaining property values, ensuring resident satisfaction, managing the leasing process, handling tenant relations, and overseeing maintenance and repairs. The Property Manager will work to ensure that properties are run efficiently, profitably, and in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a timely manner. Ensure lease agreements are compliant and manage lease renewals and terminations. Oversee routine property inspections and address maintenance issues. Coordinate repairs, renovations, and upgrades with vendors and contractors. Ensure that all properties are in good physical condition and meet legal safety requirements. Prepare and manage property budgets, monitor expenses, and report on property performance. Collect rent, manage tenant accounts, and follow up on late payments. Assist with the preparation of financial reports and documentation for owners. Ensure properties are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations, including fair housing laws. Keep accurate records of property operations, tenant agreements, and insurance policies. Handle legal matters such as evictions when necessary, in coordination with legal counsel. Qualifications: 2 years of experience in Property Management Knowledge of property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or similar) is preferred. Strong understanding of residential property regulations and landlord-tenant laws. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple properties and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial reporting. High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, or a related field is a plus. Property management certification (e.g., CAM, CPM, or ARM) is highly desirable.
