Salary: Salary range of $100,000 - $117,000 per year plus benefits

Prellis Biologics uses proprietary technology to 3D print lymph node organoids, which we are using to generate in vitro antibody libraries and in vitro human lymph node cocultures for generating antigen-specific B-cells. We are seeking a Research Associate – Senior Research Associate, Antibody Screening and Characterization to join our Antibody Screening team. This role will report to the Scientist heading antibody screening, with accountability for supporting small-scale protein purification and high-throughput antibody screening and characterization efforts, particularly using SPR (Surface Plasmon Resonance) and BLI (Bio-Layer Interferometry) technologies. Key Responsibilities: Perform high-throughput small-scale protein purification and QC/analytics protocols, including SDS-PAGE, affinity chromatography and size-exclusion chromatography, to obtain highly pure antibody preparations. Support high-throughput antibody screening and characterization using BLI and SPR technologies to assess binding kinetics, specificity, and affinity, to support multiple antibody discovery projects. Independently troubleshoot and contribute to protocol optimization for enhanced efficiency and increased throughput. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical support for various projects requiring automated workflows. Maintain accurate records of experiments, analyze data, and present results in team meetings. Qualifications: B.S in Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Immunology, Biotechnology, or related life science field with 4 years of experience, or M.S. with 2 years of relevant experience. Strong proficiency in antibody screening and characterization workflows, including protein quantification, purification, and characterization methods. Hands-on experience in small-scale protein purification using chromatography resins and antibody screening using BLI technique, such as Octet®. Familiarity with Carterra® LSA/LSA XT SPR is a strong plus. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in single B-cell antibody discovery workflows with an end goal of identifying novel therapeutic candidates. Strong organizational and time management skills to contribute to multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to document and present experimental results. Experience with liquid-handling robots and other automation equipment is a strong plus.
