GENERAL CONSTRUCTION PROFESSIONALS ONLY Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: - Foster strong client relationships to ensure successful delivery of our construction services. - Lead project meetings with clients. - Manage the Owner Contract, overseeing all financial aspects, including profit objectives. - Write, qualify, evaluate, and negotiate subcontracts and purchase orders promptly to adhere to project schedules. - Actively engage in preconstruction activities such as scheduling and constructability reviews. - Possess a thorough understanding of the construction process and building systems to effectively write and interpret RFIs. - Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules. - Oversee construction progress through administrative guidance, collaborating with the Superintendent to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery. - Coordinate with the Superintendent on project schedules, subcontractors, payments, and any safety concerns. Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Science, Engineering, or a related field. - At least four years of experience in commercial construction. - Strong communication skills with project team members, clients, and subcontractors. - Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion. Preferred Requirements: - Previous experience on projects valued between $20M and $35M in the K-12, Higher Education, and multi-family commercial construction sectors.
