An exciting opportunity is available for a Site/Civil Engineer to join a collaborative and dynamic team in San Antonio, TX. This role is crucial for the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience working on diverse projects, including mixed-use developments, residential communities, higher education facilities, and more, while utilizing engineering software like AutoCAD and Civil 3D in a continuous learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and modify various engineering documents, including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans using engineering and design software. Analyze site-related data, such as soil composition, terrain, hydrology, and topography, to inform project planning and design. Assist in assessing the impact of site characteristics on project planning and design using reports, maps, and engineering plans. Support land use permitting processes, with familiarity in local, state, and federal regulations being a plus. Collaborate with team members on tasks and assignments to ensure successful project outcomes. Perform additional job duties as requested. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. EIT certification (PE certification preferred). 3 years of relevant professional experience in site/civil design, including site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, and soil erosion. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and well-developed analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities. Ability to follow direction and work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
