The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction law, excellent litigation skills, and a passion for advocating for clients in a variety of construction-related disputes. Key Responsibilities: Represent clients in construction litigation cases, including contract disputes, project delays, defect claims, and compliance issues. Conduct thorough legal research and prepare comprehensive legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials. Manage cases from inception through trial, including pre-trial preparation and post-trial motions. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on construction-related matters. Stay updated on changes in construction law and litigation trends. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar in California. 2-7 years of experience in construction litigation or related areas, ideally litigation and transactional experience but can have only construction litigation. Strong understanding of construction law and industry practices. Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills. Proven ability to handle complex litigation cases and manage multiple priorities.
