About the job We are currently seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our team. The Paralegal will work closely with attorneys, and other legal professionals to ensure that cases progress smoothly and that the team receives the support and guidance needed throughout the legal process. The position will be responsible for managing the intricate and often time-sensitive process of filing documents and pleadings in federal courts. Arnold Law Firm is a leading legal practice dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation to clients. Responsibilities: Prepare and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs, in federal courts. Ensure compliance with state & federal court rules and procedures. Maintain an organized and up-to-date system for tracking case deadlines and court appearances. Coordinate with attorneys and legal teams to gather necessary information for filings. Conduct legal research and analysis related to federal case law and regulations. Assist in the drafting of legal correspondence and communications with federal agencies such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests, and settlement agreements. Manage and organize case documents, including electronic and physical files. Monitor and update case status, calendars, and case management systems. Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal arguments and strategies for federal cases. Provide administrative support and assistance as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's or associate Degree (or degree in progress) is preferred. Paralegal certificate required or relevant years of work experience A minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal with a strong focus on State filings. Proficiency in State court procedures and electronic filing systems (e.g., CM/ECF). In-depth knowledge of federal laws, rules, and regulations. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team. Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
