Job Title: Event Coordinator Position Title: Event Coordinator Location: Orlando, Fl Reports To: Sales & Events Manager HospitalityHQ is looking for an Event Coordinator to support event and catering sales for a private event space and food hall. This role requires a dynamic and results-driven individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Event Coordinator will work closely with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure seamless event planning and execution. Responsibilities: · Support the Sales & Events Manager in the planning and execution of events. · Assist in detailing comprehensive event orders, ensuring accuracy and clarity. · Create floor plans tailored to client needs and event requirements. · Conduct site visits to showcase the venue and address client questions. · Serve as a junior salesperson during peak business periods, assisting with inquiries and bookings. · Collaborate closely with operations and culinary teams to ensure understanding of menus and client needs. · Maintain a positive and professional attitude while engaging with clients, vendors, and team members. Qualifications: · Minimum of 2 years previous experience in events, hospitality, or related field required · Passion for catering and event sales, with a desire to advance in the industry. · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. · Proficiency in event planning software (e.g., Tripleseat) is a bonus. Working Conditions: Full-time hourly position with occasional evening and weekend hours required for events.
