Docket/Calendar Clerk Location: Cerritos, CA Pay Range: $60K to $75K per year, and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, and more. Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire, Onsite LHH is partnering with a regional law firm in seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Docket/Calendar Clerk to join the firm in their Cerritos office. The ideal candidate is well-versed in heavy calendaring, has exceptional organizational skills, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel is essential. With a minimum of 2 years of experience in a law firm setting, the candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth progression of our cases. Responsibilities: Efficiently schedule court appearances and depositions with precision. Take charge of comprehensive calendaring, managing attorneys' schedules, appointments, deadlines, and alerts. Establish effective communication channels with opposing counsel, court clerks, experts, and vendors. Foresee imminent case milestones and proactively prepare necessary documents. Execute filing tasks meticulously, adhering to timelines and organizational standards. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience within a law firm setting. Strong command of computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Exceptional organizational capabilities, adept at juggling multiple tasks concurrently. Proficient communication to engage diverse stakeholders effectively. Knowledge of appellate, federal, state, and local rules and procedures as well as litigation terminology. Proficiency in calendar/docketing software; CompuLaw experience preferred. Ability to research hearings/deadlines using state and federal court websites.
