Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support required (must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY). RDMS - Registered in Abdomen, Ob/Gyn, Breast, or Pediatric Sonography. RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist. Job Details SHIFT: D/E 12 weekend position, Friday/Saturday/Sunday 7 am to 7 pm, may be assigned other shifts as needed based on business needs. No call. We are seeking an Ultrasonographer to: Perform a wide variety of routine and complex ultrasound procedures, including pelvic, abdominal, small parts and routine vascular examinations and may perform more complex imaging. Perform clinical examinations on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups. Work at a variety of locations, including a Level 1 Trauma Center, critical care facility and several clinics in the Madison area. Job Requirements Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location. Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract. Two (2) years relevant clinical healthcare experience. Graduate of accredited ultrasonography program and/or registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS). Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in a minimum of two concentrations: (RDMS) in Abdomen, Ob/Gyn, Breast or Pediatric Sonography required. Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) required. Schedule Information 12-hour weekend shifts, Friday/Saturday/Sunday from 7 am to 7 pm. Unit Specific Information Floating may be required. The traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on current staffing needs.
