The Position: The position is a key position and oversees the end-to-end coordination of the Commissioning phase of the project. This role assists the Field Supervisors and their commissioning activities. The Service Commissioning Coordinator will report to the Field Service Supervisor. This role coordinates pre-commissioning, commissioning, as well as all acceptance testing activities, to achieve desired targets in conformity with established cost, quality, schedules, and Sungrow KPIs. The Service Commissioning Coordinator will comply with the ZERO HARM Safety Mandate to ensure safe and efficient commissioning and operation for personnel and equipment. Ensures that personnel and safety issues are given priority to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Implements and enforces safety management policy and procedures in respect of the facility; safety information, hazard analysis, safe operations/Maintenance Training, subcontractor compliance, plant integrity, work permits, emergency planning, and response. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate the BESS Commissioning Process. Assist the PM in preparing a Project Commissioning Plan and resources plan. Creates Commissioning Tracker and any Shared Folder location with site commissioning vendor. Ensure that the Project Commissioning Plan covers all ancillary testing per the customer contract Ability to offer remote technical support to the site commissioning team in resolving routine troubleshooting issues. Ensure the on-site team has all the documentation required for successful commissioning Quick escalation to CoE Team for higher level technical issues Ensure adherence to contractual commissioning milestones. With FSS, ensure site team is adequately trained in both technical and safety practices. Prepare and maintain commissioning records of site observations, testing processes, and checklists. Receive Daily Reports from Vendors and Provide Reports to all stake holders. Strictly follow and enforce Sungrow and Customer Safety plans while on site. Prepare Final Commissioning Report for Customer. Minimum Requirements: 5 plus years of overall experience in an engineering discipline or equivalent education 3 years of experience in Energy Storage systems Demonstrated Experience in the Sungrow portfolio and ability to offer technical expertise remotely. Demonstrated knowledge in utility scale electrical systems as well as C&I systems Must possess customer service, problem-solving skills, and possess decision making and analytical skills Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to demonstrate HSE experience and knowledge related to site construction and electrical safety Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, power Point and Outlook) Education or Desired License and Certificates: Associate’s Degree in an Engineering or Computer Science Discipline from an accredited university or college or equivalent work history Renewable industry experience is required Power Electronics experience is required OSHA 10 certification within 12 months of date of hire NFPA 70e certification within 12 months of date of hire Competencies Motivated Self-Starter with technical and analytical problem solving skills Excellent Time Management skills Excellent Coordination Experience Ability to make independent decisions Strong initiatives and an excellent communicator Detailed-oriented nature and strong initiative Excellent soft skills and ability to mitigate disagreements or conflicts with customers on an as needed basis Travel 25%-50% Work Location and Status: Full time, Remote, Nationwide No visa/legal sponsorship Compensation: Compensation commensurate with experience Competitive benefits package and employee programs Strong personal and company growth opportunities For candidates in the states of California, Colorado, New York and Washington, the anticipated annual base salary for this role is between $75,000 - $100,000 This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The base salary offered is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, education, location, or other factors related to the role.
