If you're passionate about using your accounting expertise in a hybrid, supportive, and close-knit environment, we would love to connect with you Responsibilities: • Prepare and review tax returns for businesses, individuals, and trusts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. tax regulations. • Engage in tax planning and strategy, providing high-value insights to clients (training provided for strategy process). • Collaborate with the team to manage deadlines, client projects, and workflow. • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering proactive solutions and recommendations. • Conduct tax research and remain current on U.S. tax issues, adapting to changes in the tax landscape. • Participate in team collaboration and firm strategy discussions to guide priorities and growth. Qualifications: • CPA or EA certification, or actively pursuing certification. • 5 years of progressive experience in tax preparation and accounting in a CPA firm. • Expertise in working with small to medium-sized businesses and high-net-worth individuals. • Proficiency in S corp, partnership, individual tax, and tax planning strategies. • Strong accounting background and knowledge of various accounting systems. • A positive, humble attitude with a passion for client service and collaboration.
