A busy hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage. Must-see attractions while on assignment in Central Pennsylvania include Gettysburg National Military Park, Sweet Treat Stral, and the Hershey's Chocolate World This position is for a board-certified Pediatric/Adult Anesthesiologist, with a preference for those with a Pediatric Fellowship but open to candidates with extensive pediatric experience. The role is needed for additional coverage, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, offering 8- or 10-hour shifts (Fridays are a priority). There is no call requirement, and the case mix is approximately 60% pediatrics and 40% adults. Adult cases include all types except cardiac, lung transplants, and burn treatments. Pediatric cases include general, trauma, urology, ENT, dental, plastics, orthopedics, neuro, MRI, and cardiac. The role primarily involves medically directing CRNAs.
