Are you interested in designing and developing complex new software products, and making significant enhancements to existing software? We're hiring a Backend Software Engineer with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to create a processing platform using various configuration management technologies. You will develop scalable data platforms using your experience in business intelligence, analytics, data science, and data products. In this role, you will: Design and develop a processing platform using various configuration management technologies. Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms. Troubleshoot complex problems and provides customer support for software systems and application issues. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Work alongside other engineers on the team to sustain and advance our organization's capabilities. You might thrive in this role if you: Possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph Have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience Have 10 years of software development experience Have experience with monitoring technologies like ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, etc. Have experience with building APIs and services using REST, Hadoop, Map Reduce, Spark, etc. Have experience with build automation technologies like Maven, Jenkins, etc. Have experience with Linux (preferred) or Windows operating systems. Have hands-on experience with modern programming languages including Java, Java Script, Python, and other non-relational databases. Have hands-on experience working with ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, Rabbit MQ, and NiFi.
