Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (for RN roles in ICU, Operating Room, and possibly Emergency depending on policies) State Licensure as a Registered Nurse PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (may be relevant for ED roles involving pediatric care) Job Details 2YR/1ST TIMERS OK - MS/TELE RN - Req 7281 Will position float between units: Yes Is on-call required? No Are weekends required? Yes Every other weekend Are block schedules required? Yes What are expected ratios? 1:4 or 1:5 Special requirements: Positions will be either straight Day or Night Shift, 7 Day/7 NOC are needed. These positions are to open 12 additional Acute Care (Med/Surg/Tele/Progressive) beds on 2VP. They will support 84 open positions on 6 Adult Inpatient Units so our Resource RNs can staff the new unit beds until we can hire RNs for the unit.
