Responsibilities: By joining our Fresno Heart & Surgical campus, as a CT Tech 1, you will be responsible for by specializes in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Collaborates directly with Radiologist regarding CT scan protocol and scan sequence. Provides patient instruction of procedure method. Injects IV contrast for organ enhancement, under the direction of a Radiologist. Perform and understand routine quality control procedures and measurements of the CT systems. Qualifications: Education & Experience Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology required Licenses and Certifications BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required One of the following is required CRT - State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist CTNM - State of California Certified Tech Nuclear Medicine Disclaimers: • Pay ranges listed are an estimate and subject to change. • If any bonuses are noted, they are only applicable to external hires meeting criteria.
