Position Summary: The Quotes and Customer Support Specialist is responsible for creating insightful special project quotations evaluating cost, overhead and market trends with a goal of closing as many opportunities as possible. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Support in managing product pricing and related tools Respond to quote requests Manage quotes through creation, analysis and approval process, engaging Sales, Finance, Engineering and others as needed Review project take-offs, cross requests, fixture schedules, quote requests and other documentation to prepare and send customers quotes and part numbers as needed, Engage with customers and regional sales staff and others to maximize likelihood of winning job Stay informed about market trends and competitor offerings Create New opportunities in Salesforce to track large opportunities Support Customer Service with various tasks such as assisting with territory management, entering and releasing new orders Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Thinks creatively about how to best solve complicated situations. Effective organizational skills with ability to successfully manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Independently able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in ambiguous situations Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline Customer-facing sales or service experience Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Salesforce CRM Microsoft Office Suite expertise Lighting industry experience will be considered a plus.
