Maintenance Technician

AWS/CES is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team for an Automotive Manufacturing client in Blue Springs, MO Location: Blue Springs, MO Schedule: 2nd or 3rd shift/Temp to Hire Compensation: $32-$35 per hour DOE Key Responsibilities: Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, drives, and robotic systems. Conduct preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal operation. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime. Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve machine efficiency and reliability. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory. Ensure compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations. Assist with continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing processes. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; Technical or vocational training in electrical maintenance is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry. Proficiency with PLCs (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens) and experience with robotic systems (e.g., ABB, Fanuc). Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including motors, drives, and control circuits.
