Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Project Manager at White Space located in the Greater Reno Area. The Senior Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day project management, procurement, quality control, and logistics for luxury hospitality and commercial projects. This role involves managing complex projects that require creative problem-solving and collaboration with global suppliers and manufacturers. Responsibilities · Serve as the technical focal point, overseeing the professional aspects of production. · Oversee project managers on the US team in a professional capacity. · Supervise the Quality Control (QC) team in China to ensure compliance with White Space's standards. · Work diligently, responsibly, and efficiently to meet customer satisfaction at all times. · Manage projects end-to-end, from the sales process through to final delivery. · Review, analyze, and assess customer needs to provide excellent service. · Plan project scopes, schedules, resources, and costs, and create project documentation. · Collaborate with various stakeholders internally and externally (suppliers, logistics, etc.). · Supervise project progress during production, shipment, and delivery. · Support sales activities, including model room production and design material creation. · Monitor project estimates and profitability, ensuring project revenue and profit goals are met. · Solve problems, perform risk analysis, and develop alternative plans to improve project outcomes. · Cultivate strong client relationships and guide them through the project lifecycle. · Assist senior management with various tasks related to project management. · Collaborate with the production team on daily tasks, fostering excellent communication and office relations. · Handle, optimize, and oversee project-related logistics (e.g., package labeling, international shipments, customs handling, and shipment tracking). Job Requirements & Qualifications driving desire for continuous improvement for yourself, your team, and your customers. A keen eye for detail and strong time-management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and performing under tight deadlines. Experience as a millwork/woodwork project manager. At least 10 years of experience as a project manager in millwork or related industries, including manufacturing and supply chain management. Knowledge of estimating, fabrication, and installation techniques. Willingness to travel to China (approximately twice a year) and within the US for client meetings. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Detail-oriented, extremely organized, yet flexible to adapt to change. Experience in construction, hospitality, retail, or commercial spaces industries. Willingness to work with imports and global suppliers, particularly in Asia. Proficiency in technology-driven tools such as AutoCAD, Plan Swift take-off, Dynamics CRM, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project), Outlook, and SharePoint. Familiarity with AWI standards. Project management certification is an advantage.
