Role: LAN Analyst Location :- Peoria, IL [Hybrid] Req ID - 12 Months Job Description • s a LAN Analyst for the client's Americas team, you will have the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a team on complex network projects. You will develop your professional network and leadership skills as you support a wide variety of network-related solutions. You will also utilize your technical skillset and business understanding to help solve critical business problems. • This role will work with the LAN team to provide support for all of the client's locations across the Americas. Typical Day: • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve LAN issues and replace defective components as needed • Respond as needed to support requests that relate to LAN development and support • Provide off-shift support for critical incidents. Team members rotate through an on-call schedule, requiring occasional off-shift and weekend support calls • Work directly, as needed, with business partners and vendors with integration of infrastructure • Design and implement processes and process improvements to aid in development and support • Follow ITSM process and documentation for all changes • Collaborate with other technical teams as needed to plan and execute changes (i.e., firewall, VPN, wireless, NAC, etc.) • dvise business partners regarding technical questions/issues in the LAN space Technical Skills Required: (Required) • Computer-related or engineering-related four-year degree (or equivalent work experience) • 10 years of progressively responsible roles in the Network Engineering space • LAN implementation and support, knowledge of risk domains, tiered domains, TCP/IP fundamentals, ethernet, QoS, IP subnetting, cabling (copper & fiber), OSPF, VLAN Trunking, VLANs, and switching configuration • Functional experience with LAN operations and implementation utilizing Cisco switches and familiarity with Cisco equipment • bility to work in a team atmosphere and collaborate with others in a positive manner (Desired) • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) • Experience with automation technologies and scripting • Experience with DNA Center • Wireless knowledge and experience • Relevant work experience with medium to large companies Soft Skills Required: • ttention to detail • Effective communication skills Education Requirements: • Bachelor's degree with 10 years' experience
