Job Title: Senior Industrial Hygienist Salary : $75,000 - $120,000 Location: Orange, CA (Hybrid - 4 days per week in office) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Industry: Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety About Us: Our Client is a leading provider of environmental health and safety services, dedicated to protecting the well-being of workers and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. We are looking for a Senior Industrial Hygienist to join this team. In this hybrid role, based out of our Orange office, you will have the opportunity to lead industrial hygiene assessments and technical reporting for a wide range of industries. Key Responsibilities: Conduct industrial hygiene surveys, assessments, and monitoring of workplace environments to evaluate potential hazards such as chemical, physical, and biological agents. Perform sampling for air, noise, and other environmental hazards to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, etc.). Prepare and present detailed technical reports, including risk assessments, hazard analyses, and recommendations for mitigation and compliance. Provide expert consultation on occupational health and safety concerns, offering strategic recommendations to improve workplace health and safety standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including safety, environmental, and engineering professionals, to develop effective hazard controls and risk reduction strategies. Assist with training programs for staff on industrial hygiene practices, regulations, and safety standards. Maintain knowledge of current industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging issues in industrial hygiene. Required Qualifications: 8 years of experience in industrial hygiene or a related field, with a strong emphasis on technical report writing and hazard analysis. Proven ability to prepare and deliver high-quality technical reports , with excellent attention to detail and clarity. Strong knowledge of industrial hygiene standards, regulations, and best practices. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field. Professional certifications such as Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) , Certified/Associate Safety Professional (CSP/ ASP) , or Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) are preferred. Experience with industrial hygiene equipment, monitoring, and assessment techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex situations and make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively. Desirable Skills: Experience working in specific industries such as manufacturing, residential, construction, or oil & gas. Familiarity with environmental health and safety management software. Experience with a variety of technical report writing. Knowledge of risk communication and training techniques for workplace safety. Why Join Us?
