Professional Search Group (PSG) is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to join a dynamic team The Human Resources (HR) Administrator serves as an administrator for several critical human resources functions and workforce management, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, and payroll. The HR Administrator serves as the customer service center for all employees and workers and assists the company in enforcing and maintaining compliance to ever-changing employment and payroll laws. APPLY ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Facilitates and communicates organizational policies and programs and ensures labor law and regulatory compliance. Responsible for timely and accurate processing of payroll in accordance with applicable employment, payroll, and tax laws using the Paychex Payroll system. Reviews wages computed and corrected errors to ensure accuracy of the payroll. Records, maintains, and updates employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, and termination date and reason in the appropriate employee databases. Schedules job interviews as requested. Assists with recruitment and interview process. Prepares new employee files and assists with new hire on-boarding process, and assists with processing employee terminations Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 records in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Assists in benefits administration, including Worker’s Compensation to include claims resolution, change reporting, and approving invoices for payment. Maintains Human Resource Information System (Paychex Flex) records and generates reports from database as needed. Assists department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all employees, and assists company with various research projects and/or special projects. Periodically reviews vendor prices and service quality Responsible for acquiring and renewing the Company’s liability insurance policy, reviewing risks and liabilities with VP/COO, and making recommendations for necessary changes to procedures or practices in order to limit the Company’s risk. Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the Company’s discretion. QUALIFICATIONS: BA Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience. 1 years of experience in an HR related role. Proficiency in MS Office Clear written and verbal communications and excellent interpersonal skills. Organize and write procedures in a logical/methodical manner. Good time management skills. Excellent attention to detail. Work well in a team environment. Able to maintain highly confidential and sensitive information. Prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources and prior experience with an HRIS database preferred.
