Spray Foam Technical Service Representative

The Technical Services Representative is responsible for serving as an expert in spray foam and associated equipment for SWD Customers as well as internal SWD teams responsible for the development of new and innovative products. The Technical Services Representative is approachable and has strong knowledge of spray foam processing equipment and understands how the product reacts to changes in temperature and pressure and other equipment issues. As a member of the Technical Services team, this individual contributor has the ability to multi-task varying priorities as well as exerts curiosity for delivering solutions to our internal and external customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following, other duties may be assigned; Analyzes contractor needs and provides counseling for spray foam applications using SWD's products as well as parts and equipment solutions. Engages customers to make them a better spray foam applicator by providing access to SWD's Blue Elite program. Supports the Technical Services Manager by actively contributing to the training material content, including certification training for Insulation and Roofing training modules as well as certification course materials. Visits jobsites to conduct on-site training for front and back office of customers on application and troubleshooting for all of SWD Products. Provides support in organizing and delivering regional training sessions that incorporate sales/tech, HSE and SWD strategy. Works with cross-functional teams for testing and qualifying of SWD's new products to market. This may require regular visits to SWD in Mesa, AZ to work with the R & D department for material assessment and development. Assists SWD Sales Team with informing prospects/contractors about SWD's products including spray foam, parts and equipment, spray foam rigs and spray foam accessories. Work with Sales Team to coordinate demo set ups, maintenance calls and certification training. Utilizes the company CRM tools, including the Salesforce mobile platform for customer interaction and documentation. Submits weekly Expense Reporting in accordance with applicable company policies. Responsible for contributing to annual revenue and expense budget in order to increase revenue and deliver margin targets and keep expenses under budget. Any other requests necessary to support the business in any form or fashion. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill, and/or ability required. High School Diploma (GED) required. 5-10 years of experience working within the spray foam industry in areas such as Insulation, Roofing, Coatings, OEM and Geotech. Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred Must have excellent knowledge of SWD materials and application standards. Strong technical knowledge of spray foam, plural fluid equipment, and troubleshooting methodology. Must be able to work autonomously and have excellent time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills and working knowledge of office and mobile communication technology is required. Must be comfortable conducting training sessions with contractors and presenting to small groups. Knowledge of building code requirements for spray foam applications, thermal barriers and required R-Values by referencing SDS sheets. SWD, Inc is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
