Travel CVOR Technologist - $2,736 per week

Focus Staff is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel job in Falls Church, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/23/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel VA LICENSE REQUIRED AT SUBMITTAL - NO EXCEPTIONS ST must have 2 years recent scrub experience in complex cardiac, thoracic and vascular cases. These include, but are not limited to, the following: Coronary Artery Bypass, Ascending Aortic Aneurysms, Valve Repair and Replacement, Structural Heart Procedures (TAVR, Mitraclip), Thoracic Organ (Heart and Lung) Transplant, ECMO, Ventricular Assist Devices, redo and emergent cases. Adult scrub experience required, pediatric scrub experience a plus. Ability to multitask and apply critical thinking skills a must. Numerous research protocols- ongoing. Certs- BLS (must be AHA) required. CST and state registration at time of submittal Understand overtime may be necessary. Call is required approx. 1-2 12 hour shift M-F and 1 weekend per month. Excellent communication skills, team player, participates in professional activities of the department. Parking on site- free Shift expectations (i.e. 6a-6p) 10 hour days rotating to nights as needed Weekend expectations (i.e. Every other weekend) per department need Floating Expectations (i.e. first to float, None, etc) within scope On-call expectations (i.e. on call 3X per week) 1-2 shifts per week; 1-2 weekends per 6 week schedule; average 1 weekend/month Holiday expectations (i.e. 1 major, 1 minor) per department need About Focus Staff Focus Staff is a travel healthcare professional staffing agency.
