Certification Details BLS telemetry Job Requirements 2 years with previous travel experience medical-surgical experience Schedule Information Shift: Night Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36/week Weekend Hours: every 3rd weekend Call Requirements: none may float to 3rd floor medical-surgical units if not needed on Rehab Unit Specific Information Number of Beds: 15 Patient Ratios: 1 RN to 5-6 patients Equipment: IV’s, PEG tube feedings, patient lifts EMR: Epic Additional Details Must Have Skills/Experience: medical-surgical experience Preferred Skillset/Experience: worked on Inpatient Rehab unit Type of Patients on Unit: neuro – stroke, brain injury; ortho – hip fractures; general – s/p CABG, sepsis, amputations, debility Personality Fit: positive and encouraging; good communication skills, will be working with 1-2 other nurses/shift Dress Code: Scrub Color: navy blue; Any unacceptable attire: must wear navy blue scrubs as per hospital policy
