Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ARRT (S) or (VS) ARDMS (Registered Vascular Technologist) (RVT) CCI (RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist)) Job Details Vascular Tech Shift: Varying 5x8 hour shift from 7am-530pm, Monday-Friday. Weekend REQ: 1 weekend/month Sat-Sun 8am-6pm. On-call REQ: Weekday call is 1-2x/week, 5:30pm-9pm. Daily Caseload per tech: 8-10 studies. Floating Req to Sister Facilities: yes just downtown, maybe West Ashley. Years of experience REQ: 2 yr experience. First-timers accepted: yes. Hospital Highlights: Type of Facility: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital. Total Staffed Beds: 865. Scrub Color: Teal Top and Black Bottom. Charting preferred: EPIC. Parking Cost: Nights and weekends only. One-time payment of $20 for parking pass. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
