Litigation Paralegal Position Overview: The Litigation Paralegal will support case management from inception through post-trial or settlement, working with both federal and state courts. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents; maintaining case files; managing document production; supporting deposition and hearing preparation; and coordinating with the Litigation Support Group for database management using iPro or similar platforms. This role involves substantial on-site work with remote flexibility. Key Responsibilities of Litigation Paralegal: Oversee case progress from pleadings through trial and appeal Manage discovery logs, document productions, and case file updates Prepare for depositions and hearings, handling exhibits and witness materials Conduct thorough cite-checking for briefs and legal/factual citations Collaborate on document reviews Requirements for Litigation Paralegal: Ability to meet California paralegal standards (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code 6450) Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years’ recent experience as a litigation paralegal within a California law firm or legal department Proficiency in eDiscovery processes, with expertise in iPro (or similar) Advanced MS Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH Strong research skills with preferred experience in Westlaw or Lexis Familiarity with court procedures, rules, and local regulations Additional Details for Litigation Paralegal role: 1575 annual billable hour target Flexibility for extended hours and travel This is a rare chance to join a respected firm that champions both professional achievement and personal growth in a collaborative, dynamic environment.
