Experienced US Gas Scheduler

The client, a marquee commodity merchant trader, is expanding US gas trading and requires support in scheduling management. 8 years experience. Location: Houston. Four days/week in office is current requirement. Compensation: $140,000-$175,000 salary, with 50%-75% bonus potential. Experienced Gas Pipeline/Storage Scheduler: Performs in-depth and complex planning, scheduling and coordination of product movements for natural gas via pipeline and storage to ensure continuity of marketing supply. Works closely with traders in direct support of trading and retail marketing strategies. · Effectively manages and assists others with the overall supply chain for natural gas and related products. · Seamlessly resolves product supply issues as a result of planned or unplanned events · Leads development of solutions to complex problems · Experience setting up physical natural gas operations · Operational knowledge of US natural gas pipeline and storage networks · Inventory management in the process of scheduling, and oversees inventory targets for the team · Ensures solutions are consistent with organization’s objectives · Interfaces with industry counterparts and 3 rd party carriers to negotiate and coordinate supply and deliveries · Knowledge of physical natural gas trading and storage contracts.
