This high-profile role plays a critical part in our sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate technical service before and after the sales of our machines. Ultimately, the ideal candidate can overcome hurdles in the sales process by conveying solid technical product and business knowledge to key decision makers. This individual will work as part of a team to help ensure we meet and exceed our customers’ needs and expectations by offering rotational and project-based support. Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000 Key Responsibilities: Develop and launch new products from Europe in North American market. Develop local product lines and innovations based on market needs and customer feedback. Leverage existing customers to engage in test new equipment and products. Run field tests of new equipment. Partner with European Product Development teams to customize prototypes for North American market. Become SME for equipment and introducing technical training to sales, product management, technical support and technical training teams. This will be part of team that has strengths in all or a few of the primary skills. What do you need to be successful in the role: Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering field; can be substituted by experience for highly qualified individuals Experience in the Food and Beverage Equipment industry, coffee and/or hot dispensed beverages is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Must love and appreciate coffee and espresso. 2-3 years’ engineering and/or equivalent technical experience. An ability to grasp customers’ needs and identify and suggest solutions. Project management skills. Product implementation experience from protype development. Field testing experience is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Physical Requirements: Sitting or standing at a desk while using the phone and computer. Standing, Walking and Manual dexterity. Occasionally lifting of up to 50 pounds. Overview: Working in vendor and field facilities including convenience stores, quick serve restaurants, restaurants and hotels.
