Terminal Manager

We are looking for a skilled and results-driven Terminal Manager to oversee all aspects of our terminal operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in transportation and logistics, with a strong focus on operational efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Operational Oversight : Manage daily terminal operations, including dispatch, paperwork verification, and staff scheduling to ensure smooth workflow and timely deliveries. Compliance and Safety : Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and safety protocols, maintaining a safe and efficient terminal environment. Financial Management : Monitor and assess financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities, optimizing resource allocation, and driving overall profitability. Team Leadership : Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a high-performing team. Provide regular coaching, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a positive work culture. Customer Relations : Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Continuous Improvement : Identify areas for operational improvement, implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate the customer experience. Emergency Response : Be available to handle after-hours calls and address urgent incidents, ensuring business continuity and problem resolution. Qualifications 5 years of experience in transportation and logistics, with a preference for terminal management or dispatch roles. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team-building skills. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and meet tight deadlines. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
