The Team The Nylas marketing team, though small, is formidable, composed of skilled professionals in product, growth, and digital marketing. As a pivotal component of the organization, we collaborate closely with product leaders, sales teams, and engineering experts to effectively showcase the capabilities and potential of the Nylas platform. The Role We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Content Marketing Manager who is passionate about crafting compelling content and driving growth strategies. This hybrid role is central to our marketing efforts, blending content creation with data-driven growth marketing to engage and convert our target audience. You'll work closely with Product Marketing, Growth, and cross-functional teams to create and optimize content that resonates with technical business leaders in the SMB SaaS tech space. What You'll Do Content Creation: Write engaging and high-impact content, including blog posts, white papers, email campaigns, website pages, and more, targeted at developers, engineering managers, product managers, and executives in the SMB SaaS tech space. Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Product Marketing and Developer Relations teams to ensure content aligns with product releases and resonates with both technical and business audiences. Growth Marketing: Manage our graphic design resources to contribute to digital campaigns, product initiatives, and customer-focused programs. Content Optimization: Collaborate with the Demand Generation team to identify high-performing content and double down on successful strategies, ensuring a strong SEO impact and high conversion rates. Campaign Management: Plan and execute content-driven marketing campaigns, including landing pages, email campaigns, and A/B testing. Continuously measure and optimize the performance of these campaigns. Voice and Messaging: Develop and maintain a strong, authentic voice for Nylas content that speaks to technical and business audiences without relying on industry clichés. What You Must Bring 8 years of experience in content creation and/or growth marketing with a focus on the tech industry. Technical Aptitude: A keen understanding of technical products and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling content. Collaboration Skills: Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Analytical Mindset: Hands-on experience with website analytics platforms (e.g., WordPress, Marketo, Optimizely) and a strong ability to interpret data to inform marketing strategies. Round 2: 60 minute Google Meet discussion with the Director, Growth Marketing, Joel Garcia. Round 3: Take home assignment followed by a 60 minute Google Meet discussion with the Product Marketing Manager, Nick Barraclaugh. Round 4: Four (4) Google Meet discussions with various Nylas leaders (max 3 hours). During the various discussions, candidates selected to meet with us are strongly encouraged to not only discuss their knowledge, skills, experience, and abilities but also to showcase examples of their current or previous work. We expect you to clearly outline the "what," "why," and "how" behind your contributions. The estimated base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $145,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on individual qualifications, which are objectively assessed during the interview process. Factors influencing salary include knowledge, skills, experience, and abilities.
