Assist associate and staff accountants with general tax return issues. Have direct contact with clients in various industries. Prepare and analyze tax planning projections. Quantify and document federal and state income tax liabilities for tax returns, extensions, and estimated payments. Perform research on technical tax issues. Respond to client inquiries and taxing authority notices. Stay updated on current accounting practices and changes in tax laws.
