Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Construction Project Manager plans and oversees the building process of construction projects from start to finish. They are responsible for overall safety, direction, completion and financial outcome of projects from initial budget to project closeout. They work in a managerial role for the company including hiring and delegating tasks to subcontractors to work on certain construction projects. Project Managers work closely with the Superintendent to ensure the crew has correct drawings & construction documents as specified by the Customer & Engineer to ensure a quality product. They work with clients to understand their construction goals and needs, then build a schedule for the crew to follow. Construction Project Managers oversee the entire construction process to ensure everything runs smoothly for the project to be successful. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Capable of managing multiple projects in $1M - $5M range Proactive to responding to issues that impact contract requirements and facilitate solutions in a timely manner Establishes and grows relationships with clients, engineers, vendors & subcontractors to orchestrate successful projects and be referred new opportunities Conduct regular site checks to review the workers’ progress, ensure they are following proper safety standards, and inspect their work ensuring it meets quality standards and project specifications Report project progress and budget to client on a regular basis Explain contract and technical matter to others in a clear manner Prepare budgets, cost estimates, and work schedules Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Assist in preparing subcontracts, purchase orders & change orders Communicate with Estimating team at time of award to begin buyout and budget creation Document Control between SharePoint, HCSS, and any customer required document platform Cost Code invoices to proper jobs & cost types (labor, equipment, materials, subcontracts, supplies) Review and forecast cashflow and budget for jobs monthly Prepare submittals and RFI’s as required to maintain project schedule, document issues & solutions, and provide necessary information for crews to complete work correctly in field Review and approve time cards on your projects weekly meeting payroll deadlines Create schedule of values and complete monthly pay applications for their project(s) Qualifications Personally Accountable Bachelor’s in construction science, construction management, engineering or architecture preferred OSHA 10/30 Construction management experience preferred Great customer service skills Leadership Qualities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Time management skills Experience writing proposals and budget plans Technical skills to interpret construction methods, contracts and drawings of the project Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook; Bluebeam PDF, HCSS, Scheduling Software) Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices ZeusCon offers a competitive benefits package including: 401k with employer match Health, Vision and Dental 100% paid for employee Yearly bonus based on company performance and individual performance Life Insurance Gympass (Wellhub) Membership We are an equal opportunity employer.
