We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Project Manager to drive success on large-scale HVAC and mechanical systems projects in the Washington, DC area. What You’ll Do: Lead Project Delivery: Oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution of HVAC and mechanical systems projects from start to finish. Quality Control: Review blueprints and specifications to ensure that projects meet design intent, quality standards, and compliance. Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination: Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project budgets and specifications. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports, ensuring alignment with company and client requirements. Cost & Performance Management: Leverage historical data and project metrics to optimize cost management strategies and ensure project goals are met on time and within budget. Stakeholder Collaboration: Lead project meetings with clients, engineers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure clear communication and resolve issues proactively. Team Development: Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members, helping them grow professionally and succeed within the organization. Innovation & Improvement: Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate the latest mechanical and HVAC best practices to continuously improve project outcomes. What We’re Looking For: Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience managing HVAC or mechanical construction projects, particularly in large-scale commercial or institutional environments. Skills & Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend). Familiarity with mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and piping is essential. Leadership Ability: Proven experience leading teams, managing subcontractors, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Organizational Excellence: Strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage competing priorities while ensuring project deadlines and budgets are met. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders. Attention to Detail: Highly organized, with a keen eye for detail and a strong focus on delivering quality results.
