Senior Human Resources Generalist

Key Responsibilities: Align with the Sr. HR Business Partner or Sr. HR Manager and leaders of assigned business units to assist in the delivery of organizational business and workforce strategies to improve organization effectiveness, including talent acquisition and employee performance. Partner with management to improve employee job performance through change initiatives, performance management programs, career development planning, employee relations efforts and other professional tasks as required. Support staffing activities by partnering with the Talent Acquisition leader and hiring managers in sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring activities for assigned requisitions. Work closely with HR team to ensure successful design, deployment and sustainability of various HR programs and processes. Assist Sr. HRBP or Sr. HR Manager with employee relations issues as needed Assist in job evaluations and provide compensation recommendations with respect to client groups. Handle responsibilities in HRIS administration, benefits administration, employee relations and learning services. Responsible for accurate processing of all employee actions from hire to termination. Back up HR Coordinators as needed. Other activities as necessary to support the HR Team Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree (Business or HR-related major preferred) or equivalent experience in HR 7-9 years of progressive Generalist experience. Ideal candidate is able to mostly operate independently with guidance from Sr. Manager and be willing to occasionally do entry level generalist activities; including but not limited to interview scheduling, daily Workday inputs, etc. Professional HR certification preferred Demonstrated success in providing solutions to employee relations concerns of simple to medium-complexity with minimal guidance. Experience supporting organizations across multiple locations and/or time zones preferred Experience working in highly matrixed organizations preferred Skills and Attributes: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with HRIS administration, Workday preferred. Ability to independently initiate internet searches for timely and relevant information as it relates to recruitment or HR topics. Strong organizational and communication skills, with proven attention to detail. Proven ability to handle confidential matters with appropriate discretion. Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple responsibilities. Must be able to work effectively with all levels of internal and external customers
