My client seeks an experienced attorney to provide comprehensive legal support and guidance on diverse matters in collaboration with management. They are a global leader in renewable energy and construction solutions/technologies for energy projects - boasting a high calibre legal team, excellent position in the market, and solid year on year growth The primary focus will involve reviewing and negotiating complex EPC contracts in the electric power and related industries, spanning the proposal phase to project execution, as well as supporting the negotiation and renewal of master services agreements with clients. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate various customer contracts, including EPC, Design-Build, CMAR, and MSAs. Support Commercial Development, Supply Chain/Procurement, and Operations teams with subcontractor and vendor agreements. Provide contract advice and address contract-related issues during project execution, including change orders. Assist with claims, litigation, and regulatory investigations as needed. Travel to company offices, project sites, legal proceedings, and contract negotiations as required. Required Qualifications Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school. At least 6 years of legal experience in transactional/commercial matters, including customer contracts and in-person negotiations. A minimum of 1 year of experience negotiating contracts in the engineering or construction industry. Preferred Qualifications Strong preference for experience with EPC projects in the electric power sector (transmission and distribution). Background in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) preferred, though significant EPC-related litigation experience will also be considered. Experience negotiating joint venture agreements is a plus. Travel Requirements Travel: 10–20%.
