If you're excited by writing efficient, testable, and robust code that makes a real difference, we can't wait to hear from you Description As a Software Engineer in our team, you will work with a diverse array of cross-functional partners throughout Apple on challenging projects incorporating Machine Learning and Al. The software you build will be instrumental in applying ML and Al to solve problems, provide insights, and drive decision-making within Hardware Engineering and beyond. We move at a fast pace, iterate quickly, and work side-by-side with our customers to ensure we're building the most effective solutions possible. Your main responsibilities include: • Write high-quality code that's testable, scalable, and able to be maintained by others in the • Collaborate across teams and organizations to distill complex requirements into a concrete action plan • Research new ML and Al techniques and come up with innovative ways to apply them to new and existing problems for our customers • Lead design reviews, author documentation, and give meaning feedback on the designs of peers • Represent your work to the team and leadership through demos, presentations, and retrospectives Minimum Qualifications 2 years experience in web and/or native application development Machine Learning and/or Al expertise Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences Curiosity to learn new technologies and passion for sharing that knowledge with Key Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in Python or other object-oriented programming language(s) Experience with LLMs, training ML models, and building RAG pipelines Demonstrated ability to architect complex systems in a reusable, modular way Education & Experience Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,900 and $183,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
